Kids First started around women using crafts to generate income and provide for their families. Craft making has grown to be a central part of Kids First, where women can come to experience fellowship, make new friends, and learn new skills.
Our women pride themselves in making quality, durable crafts, and have had amazing opportunities to sell these crafts both locally and internationally. Crafts are sold regularly in the USA and New Zealand. We are also fortunate to have friends in Australia who are selling crafts there too. All profits made from selling these crafts go directly to the women of Kids First.
Through selling crafts, women have been able to put doors on their home, plant crops for their families, and even send their kids to school. They also pay for lessons to further their skills in craft making. This is truly a self sustainable project that has empowered women with a sense of self worth and dignity as they support themselves and their kids.
In future we hope to have an online store to even more people can purchase their crafts.
