Are you interested to partner with us to help uplift and encourage these awesome women and kids from Uganda? We would love your support no matter how big or how small!
Ways to get involved are:
PRAY Prayer is powerful! We don't have a specific prayer team at this stage, but prayer for availability of land or buildings for Kids First Uganda to operate from, and finances for this, would be greatly appreciated at this time.
WRITE TO US We love getting messages of support. You have no idea what an encouragement they are! We also love suggestions as to what you would like to see on the website, and would love to have you follow us on Facebook.
SPONSOR We are always looking for sponsors for kids. There are so many kids in the area where we work who would have their lives changed by the opportunity that education gives them. Many of our older kids are expanding their education with vocational training or tertiary studies. These come at a higher and more variable cost than school. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please send us a message.
DONATE If you're not able to commit to sponsoring a child, or would like to support a specific project, we welcome on-off donations, and will endeavour to use them in the area you wish. We will work with you on this and let you know exactly how your donation has been used. You can donate to Kids First at givealittle or see our donation page for country-specific information. VISIT We love visitors! If you are coming to Uganda for any reason, please get in touch and let us know if you would like to meet with Joshua and some of the Kids First family.
BUY Our women take great pride in the awesome crafts that they make, and purchasing them can really make a difference. We already have unsponsored kids in school, paid for by their mothers, who have made an income through crafts. This is such an awesome start to the self-sustainability we want to see. We don't yet have an online store, but please write and ask where the next craft market will be (specifically New Zealand and Michigan).
